EKG 101 WITH DR. G. THE NP (ONLINE LIVE COURSE): MARCH 18, 2023 10 AM TO 2 PM CST
Learn the basics of EKG interpretation.
This includes information on the electrical activation of the heart and
physiology of cardiac muscle contraction. You will review the
relationship of cardiac activity to the P, QRS, and T wave on the EKG as well as
identification of normal morphology and measurements of a P wave, PR interval,
QRS complex, and QT interval.
Correct lead placement will be reviewed as well as rhythm strip interpretation-identification of Sinus, Atrial, Junctional, and Ventricular dysrhythmias and Atrioventricular blocks
Identification of first line medications for EKG rhythms as well as nursing and
medical interventions will be discussed.
This education activity has been approved by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners® for 4.0 contact hours of accredited education, including 0.5 hours of pharmacology.
This class is presented by Tranise Goodlow, who is the founder and co-owner of Dr. G the NP, LLC. Dr. Goodlow, also known as Dr. G, is a cardiology nurse practitioner and graduate-level professor.
